How it works
Fuzzin is a short video app. You watch, you post, and tokens move between the people who make and watch the videos.
Watch
- For You
- A feed of short videos picked for you.
- Following
- Posts from the people you follow.
- Discover
- Search for people and posts.
- XP for taking part
- Watching, liking, commenting, sharing and following earn XP toward your level. Most of these have a daily cap. About levels and leagues
Create
- Post
- Post videos and photos from the app. Posting earns XP too.
- Earn from views
- Every hour, Fuzzin counts the views on videos. A video earns tokens for its creator once enough different people have watched it for long enough. Other ways to earn
- View milestones
- Your posts earn you more XP as their views pass milestones.
Boost
A boost spends your tokens to show a post to more people in the feed, for a set time. Boosted posts carry a label, so everyone can tell.

- You pay for qualified views
- A qualified view means someone had your post on screen, visible enough and long enough to count. The exact rules are set by Fuzzin and shown when you promote. Each person counts once per boost, and you never count.
- Unused tokens come back
- Your tokens are set aside when the boost starts and spent one qualified view at a time. When the boost ends, whatever wasn’t spent is released back to you.
- The price follows demand
- Fuzzin prices views from how much attention is available and how many boosts are running. When many boosts are running, a view costs more.
- Estimates come from real activity
- Before you boost, the app estimates how many people your boost can reach, from recent viewer activity on Fuzzin. While Fuzzin is small, it shows only an upper limit (“up to about” a number of people). Otherwise it shows a range, based on how finished boosts did, or on default figures while few boosts have finished. When there aren’t enough viewers to promise any reach, it says so and shows no number. Where boosting is open on the web, the setup there shows the same estimate as a range of qualified views, or says there isn’t enough data yet.
- Where the tokens go
- For each qualified view, part can go to the person who watched, part goes to the post’s creator if someone else boosted it, and the rest is removed from circulation.
- How boosted posts appear
- Boosted posts are mixed in between regular posts, with a limit on how many appear on each page. You never see your own boost.
- What can be boosted
- A post that is live and has no open reports.
